The CHED-PP Certificate

As of 14 December 2019, the CHED-PP will be used by operators responsible for consignments of plants, plant products and other objects introduced from third countries (for which a phytosanitary certificate is required) to give prior notification to the competent authorities of the border control post of arrival of those consignments, and by the competent authorities of that border control post to record the outcome of official controls performed and any decisions taken on that basis including information on follow-up measures taken on the consignment after a decision has been taken.

The CHED-PP is a Common Health Entry Document for plants, plant products and other objects referred to in Article 47(1) (c) to (f) of Regulation (EU) 2017/625 and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/66.

It is currently used on a voluntary basis for phytosanitary controls under Council Directive 2000/29/EC.
